WE MAKE EVERY DAY FUN!
Our great team realises the importance of building a trusting, good relationship with parents and carers from the very first day. We have an open door policy, which means you are able to pop in at any time if you need to speak to us. That way we ensure we meet the individual needs of both the parent and the child. We understand that leaving your child for the first time in a new Nursery is a huge event for all of you and can give you a few sleepless nights – we’ve had to go through it too – so we go out of our way to try and make this as easy as possible.
LEARNING & LAUGHING
AT THE SAME TIME!
Every day in Nursery is carefully planned to ensure your child receives the best learning opportunities whilst ensuring we meet the individual social, physical and emotional needs of each child. What’s more, it’s carefully planned to make sure this learning is made fun and includes things like helping children to develop positive friendships through play, Learning sharing, turn-taking and having respect for each other.
Your child's day will be carefully planned and our activities are prepared appropriate to your child’s individual progress and development.
Our wealth of experience means we know how different each child is and will progress them in the best possible way for them.
We have good links with all schools in line with the transfers and transitions stage and working together in partnership with the local authority a continuous development programme.

SEE WHAT OUR PARENTS HAVE TO SAY!
“Having moved here from London, where I had used a few different nurseries with my older kids, I was amazed to find the best nursery I have ever come across, in Manston. The staff are brilliant, the atmosphere is really joyful and the teaching great. And what a garden! I highly recommend them.” Sonja Addison
“My daughter, Nessie started here aged two. The staff at Little Scarecrows welcomed her into this fantastic nursery in spite of her brain damage and deafness. They bent over backwards to give her an amazing time, teach her beautifully and were simply incredible. No other mainstream nursery in Thanet was prepared to do this. Within weeks, staff were doing BSL courses and teaching the rest of the kids to sign! There were lots of tears when she finally went to primary school. We miss them all. They are fantastic.” Julian Bigg
“All three of my children have gone to Little Scarecrows. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. Happy, happy, happy. Thank you from Geth, Ffion, and Griff. What more can I say, really!” Tracey Calnan
